Administrative Assistant-Utilities & Accounts Receivable
The Borough of Zelienople is accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant (40 hrs./week, M-F) to support the function of utility billing and account receivable. This position requires excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail. This position is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including utility billing and payment processing, assisting in general accounts receivable, assisting in payroll processing, filing, records retention, and general customer assistance and administrative support for Borough operations.
Preferred qualifications: Associate’s degree in accounting, business or related field, Bachelor’s degree highly preferred; minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience; background working in utilities, A/R, or related customer service. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and hold a valid driver’s license. Wage commensurate with experience, includes excellent benefits. Deadline-until filled.
