Traffic/Pedestrian Update – Intersection of Main Street and Beaver Street
The Borough has installed new pedestrian signals at the intersection of Main Street and Beaver Street as part of our ongoing Main Street Revitalization project.
This intersection does not have a dedicated pedestrian walk cycle, so pedestrians must cross while there is a green light for vehicles and the pedestrian crossing signal is active. Turning traffic must yield to pedestrians.
Please note that the Main Street crosswalk on the south side of the intersection (closer to Dunkin’) will be closed until the new curb ramps are installed; however, the north side of the intersection (closer to WesBanco) is open.
