The Borough has received an increase in complaints of freely roaming pets in the Fairlawn Blvd., Wayne Ave. and Hillside Dr. section of Zelienople. As a reminder, being a considerate dog and cat owner can contribute much to pleasant neighborly relations and a good living environment. Both dogs and cats can make wonderful companions, but unfortunately they are also the pets most widely complained against. This is not surprising as they can often be seen roaming the neighborhood and heard by others. Pet owners can avoid having their pets become a nuisance through proper care and supervision and adherence to the Borough pet laws. Having a pet is a personal choice, but when it becomes a nuisance it can involve a lot of other people. Please be a considerate pet owner, keep all pets from roaming freely and please clean up after your pet.
