In our efforts to provide more reliable communications with Residents and Businesses in the boroughs, we have implemented the Zelie-Harmony Notification System powered by Smart911 as our Emergency Notification service provider.
The Zelie-Harmony Notification System in its simplest form is a system that makes phone calls, emails and texts to specific people or areas in the event of an emergency or for sharing important information such as utility outages, weather, traffic, and other emergencies.
Individuals who were previously signed up for our old notification system, Swift911, will be automatically enrolled in the Zelie-Harmony Notification System powered by Smart911, but are encouraged to visit Sign Up - Smart911 to add additional and updated information to the new platform to ensure accuracy. Residents who were not previously signed up for Swift911 should sign up for free (Sign Up -Smart911) to receive timely and actionable emergency alerts. Residents can specify when and how they are alerted and communicated with.
The Smart911 system also provides a mobile app that is available as a free download for iOS, Android, and Windows phones. Download the Smart911 app today and sign up to receive notifications from the Zelie-Harmony Notification System.
