This year and every year, we are so grateful for our wonderful volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community members. Your support brings our park to life – through our regular grounds maintenance, facility additions and improvements, and family-friendly events!
Each year, we look to make improvements and solve challenges at our facilities, oftentimes stemming from our neighbors' and community members' recommendations. We are thrilled to share that the Community Park Association will be terracing the hill surrounding the James A. Ayers Sr. Amphitheater. This long-awaited project will greatly improve our seating for seasonal concerts and shows.
The terracing will be made possible by a generous gift from the Ayers Foundation, a grant award from the Community Conservation Partnerships Program administered by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), and you! To complete the project, we are working to raise another $40,000.
